PROFILE OVERVIEW

Editorial Brief

Hosein Rostami operates at the intersection of fintech, business strategy, venture building, growth, product development, and commercial operations.

After several years in senior marketing leadership roles within major Iranian fintech and cryptocurrency platforms, his career evolved from managing individual marketing functions toward building complete business and growth systems. Today, his work spans multiple financial ventures and operating environments, including digital-asset exchanges, investment platforms, payment services, commodity-backed products, KOL and affiliate ecosystems, and B2B financial infrastructure.

As Co-Founder and Board Member of Gerami, Hosein is involved in building a multi-asset investment platform designed to make access to commodities and alternative assets simpler and more accessible. His work covers business strategy, growth architecture, product direction, team development, partnership models, new asset opportunities, and the design of B2B and B2B2C services. At Gerami, he works across the boundaries of product, marketing, business development, operations, finance, support, risk, and compliance. His role is centered on identifying new opportunities, turning them into clear business models, assigning ownership, defining measurable outcomes, and creating the organizational structure required to execute them.

A major part of his work involves designing growth systems that extend beyond short-term acquisition. These systems connect user onboarding, activation, first transaction, repeat activity, portfolio development, retention, reactivation, referral, and partner-driven distribution.

Within the international exchange ecosystem, Hosein works on regional business development, KOL partnerships, affiliate operations, high-volume trader acquisition, and strategic relationships with trading communities and financial businesses. His approach to KOL and affiliate growth is built around long-term commercial partnerships rather than one-off promotional campaigns. This includes partner identification, negotiation, onboarding, activation, technical enablement, incentive design, volume development, retention, and continuous relationship ownership.

He has also worked on developing separate commercial motions for KOLs and educators, high-volume direct traders, exchange and platform partnerships, and regional business-development teams, recognizing that each requires its own operating model, incentive structure, and performance indicators.

Through his roles across Gerami, LBank, PayStar, VisaPay, and Sigma, Hosein has developed a multidisciplinary perspective on how financial products scale. He combines business-model thinking with distribution strategy, product understanding, team design, data, partnerships, and operational execution. Rather than approaching growth as a collection of campaigns, he treats it as an operating system: a coordinated structure of people, processes, incentives, data, technology, and commercial relationships.

His earlier experience at ZarinPal provided the foundation for this work, giving him hands-on exposure to large-scale user growth, marketing leadership, sales development, customer analytics, brand transformation, and cross-functional execution. His current focus is on applying that experience to build new ventures, market infrastructure, and scalable financial-growth ecosystems.
